HARD FISHING 7/3/09

STARTED AT THE TIP OF THE CANYON...MANAGED 6 GAFFERS ALL DAY...CURRENT WAS RIPPING HARD VERY HARD..TRYED THE DEEP OUT TO 300 FTHMS INTO 50 FTHMS NO LUCK ON THE TUNA..PICKED UP RAN TO THE HOT DOG ..LOTS OF BIRDS,MARKS ,BAIT,FLYERS, AND SLICKS BUT NO BITES....HARD DAY FISHING BUT WE GOT SOME MAHI SAMICHESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...LOL

We were out on the 3rd as well. Started just south of the canyon and had 7 mahi's for the day. A bit disappointing we never found the tuna, but that's how it goes. It was a bit sporty out there as well. We did see your boat as we left to head back to Richmond. Nice looking rig you got Tat.
