Not as exciting as some, but yesterday I put up a trail cam to see what I could see - Lots of deer in the neighborhood - including a white one - Still not sure I have it in the right place yet... The cam is about 50 yards from the house

Woke up early one morning last week and there were 10 of them grazing in the back yard. Two bucks, 4 does, and two youngens.
There aren't many neighborhoods in Raleigh with that amount of woods except for one I saw off Ebinezer church rd Saturday.
I'll check the cam tonight.
Jay - there are lots of older neighborhoods in Raleigh with large wooded areas. Mine is one of them.
Wow, very cool Fred...5 points area or north Hills?
Actually SE Raleigh - Near Garner.
Just checked tonight - No joy. We'll see what shows up tomorrow...
White one captain Fred? As in albino? I saw an albino cockroach once![]()
It would be too cool if you could photograph that white rascal.

Lee you would be surprised how many deer live in the woods near both 5 points and north hills. I used to live near the greenway inbetween 5 points and North hills and I would see a deer every now and then, saw a nice wide 6 pointer two years ago. The amazing thing is the deer don't semed to mind the people and their pets. When that 6 pointer came up to the fence in my backyard, my dog charged at it and barked at it and the buck didn't seem bothered at all just kept grazing.
