I work with some powerful cures for bait that are super hard on the hands have learned to just wear nitrile gloves all day you get about a 100 gloves for 10 dollars at any pharmacy they are what a lot of surgeons use. I also have found that a ointment called foille's is hands down the best healer for cuts!!!PEACE

Thanks for sharing some tips guys! I think part of the problem comes from the bacteria that is on the baits too...not just from cleaning the catch...the waterless antibacterial hand cleaners help too.
