Guess that's what I get....
for being a computer idiot!!! It only took me 6 months to find this Site. Been going to the "mix it up" site, I thought that was all there was. I'm glad to have found you guy's. Some real fish info here, awesome. Live in Bath,NC (right where the Pungo and Pamlico rivers meet). Got a 25ft DownEaster, new to sport fishing, have enjoyed it so far. I've been "on deck" my entire life but got a long way to go. Look forward to chatting with you guy's, Frank,SeaPower

Hey guy's thanks or the welcome!! Bodie I live right across the river from PCS, about 2 minutes from North Creek, that's where I generally put over. Guy's I gotta come clean here first. Commercial fished up and down the coast and here for about 18 years, don't hold it agaisnt me,just tryin to make a livin. Saw the error of my way's and here I am, a get down sportfisherman (never saw it comin). With all that out in the open, I just bought my boat in Jan 08 a 25ft c/c DownEaster. Fished for rock this winter alittle, caught some wahoo earlier this spring, dolphin alittle later. Had 45 dolphin acouple of weeks ago with friends on the boat, had a ball. I've got an idea of the water and fishing but from a different perspective. I used to "have to go", now I go because I "want to"..
Hasn't been too much to the Drum so far in the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers as of yet, from what I here. Picking up one or two on a good afternoon/evening. Seems that the fish are East and South. The Tarpon have started showing up pretty good in the last couple of weeks, all the way up to nearly Washington. Some fellas went out this morning at daylight (seems to be an early bite right now), one guy caught one the other caught two. The guys up here crabbing are seeing them all around while they are fishing. I've not had the chance to get out and fish the last few weeks. Threw my back out last week and was in bed all week. Been trying to play catch up since. I fished alot out of Hatteras, Ocracoke and Oregon Inlet over the years and thats where I've been spending most of my time, so far. With the price of fuel I may start fishing more in the sound. It's real convienent. Like I said I'm new to "fun" fishing. I've worked my whole life to get to the point I am at now. I still work more than should be legal. Hunting and fishing is all I do besides working on other peoples boats. It seems nice to be able to ask a couple of buddies that I enjoy to be around "hey you ready" and off we go. I could get used to this fishing thing. I am really looking forward to spending time here. I've seen some of your posts and opinions on "mix it up", seems like a very interesting and knowledgable crowd. Looking forward to it. Frank, SeaPower
