    Guacamole Results This Year?

Ok let's hear it-- I was kinda disappionted on my guac results this year. Did catch my only 2 Sails on them in the Keys in early June, but that was it for billfish on them. In all fairness, it was a ***** of a year w/ the grass in Carolina, so the quac didn't live up to its potential due to that. I know they miss fish, but I still like em. Right flat is the heat, right short is mighty pretty behind that teaser-- but nada billfish on the OBX this year on them. Did discover they will flat out put a hurting on the Gaffers when they are around but finicky. Whad ya'll do on the Guac's this year?

We had a horrible billfish yr in OC. Most of my time was spent tuna fishing. We used Guacs all week during the WMO. We raised two billfish. One blue and one white. we caught them both. Both on Guacs

I have to disagree....SJ boats caught more whites this year than any in recent memory. Working from the Lindy to the Washington, whites were eating everything including plastic. There were lots of cherries broken this year.

Younger, when I said we I meant we (personally). Last yr we raised billfish on everysingle trip that we went on. We caught many fish inside the fifty line and when the pod of fish showed up offshore we had good weather to make the runs. this yr we couldn't buy a billfish bite until the tournament and when the pod showed up out towards the 1000 it was too rough for or 32ft center console. Great Tuna yr but poor billfishing for us.
