It was hard not to take the 50w's yesterday with the predicted sea condition but the warm water is really off the break. So we loaded 2 boats and bottom bouncin, heading SE the Electric Bill and my rig the Foul Hook'd. I had planned to have 3 of us onboard but 1 had to withdrawl so that left Mr. Billy and myself to keep up with the loaded crowd on the EB. Beautiful morning on the water, great ride out to the marks. First couple drops didn't get a nibble, then Billy pulls in a mega Pinkie. I tangle with a AJ which is a pain in 270ft. of water, I have sore arms this morning. Next drop I get hammered, short tussle and a nice Red in the box! Billy gets a couple more fat Pinkies, then I get the biggest Scamp I've ever caught. Last fish I caught was a fire back, that orange and blue speck paint job is wild!
Billy drags up a nice Red, I manage a couple more Pinkies. The bite slowed so we move up the beach a ways. Alot of nibbles but we just couldn't get on the bite. Plenty of triggers around, couldn't snag them either. Got to see a massive Sea Ray come up to the stern of the boat and hang around, very cool!!!! Jason jumped onboard for a early ride in, with E40, Baywolf and Gabe kept picking at the triggers. Absolutely beautiful ride in, great fishin partner and some fine meat in the box.

Some nice looking bottom creatures. Haven't heard of too many reports of successful trips out to stream, so you made a good decision on bouncing the bottom.

Nice job on those deep water critters... Those Almacos in the deep sure are a pain even though they get you hoping for a little while! Glad you had some nice weather.

Fins, water temp varied all day 63-66, water was a little dingy. Plenty of albies and tiny BFT on the rips around us.
