    Green Lantern

So tell me about this little green lantern... I have seen them before on a few boats and even pulled one once or twice but I have never really given this thing the time to prove itself. However, I stopped by good ol Fish Finder Joe's yesterday and saw that he was making these things up by the truck load and shipping them around the world. So have I been missing out on all this goodness for the past few years or should I stick with my bread and butter blue and crystal?

The Green Lanterns work great on the yellowfins. They will get a bite lots of times when a regular witch won't. We also make them in pink, blue and white, and plack and purple. With or without mylar. The smaller 1/2 oz. size seem to work the best here in NC. The one oz. sizes work best farther north.

Joe, are you using the green squids with the different color hair or crystal hair with the different colored squids?

they do work. been using them here in charleston and they are about the only thing I can get a tuna to bite consistently.

you can find a picture in the "favorite sea witch" thread of what they look like. they are usually a green squid with white hair over the squid skirt.

I don't have a picture of them. I will try and get one when I get back to the shop. For the green lantern, I use a green 1/2 oz. head with a 4 1/4 inch green octopus skirt behind it with crystal hair tied on top. I also tie green mylar sometimes along with the crystal hair. I make these skirts in pink, black and purple as well as blue and crystal. the black and purples work extremely well for the wahool I also make larger lanterns in 1 oz. and 3 oz. size. the 3 oz. purple are killers for the wahoo.
