Reminds me of my years as a teenager and early 20 something years back shark fishing off North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. Of course we never caught A Great White, but we had out fair share ot 10ft to 12 ft. tiger sharks and hammerhead sharks. We used a canoe instead of a surf board to get the baits out. and we didn't have a fighting chair, just a harness and a hole dug in the sand. We used 20 ft. bamboo poles with outrigger rings and clips to help us keep the bait out of the breakers.
Those were the days! Young, not so smart, and always plenty of beer and brown water to keep us company in the foxhole.

Dude, you ought to hear the stories around here of kids surf fishing for sharks at night off Carolina and Kure Beach for big Lemons and Tigers. Not sure if I would like to get teh short straw to kayak that bloody bait out past teh breakers in the dark.

yeah i would have to figure a better way to get the bait out there. (water ballon launcher, potato gun, giant helium ballon) anything but my azz on a surfboard or kayak. But that looks awesome love the fighting chair on the truck, I bet they get drunk and do some truck jousting.
