We used a mix of lures and skip baits. We trolled the lures and the skip baits at the same speed. The baits were usualy 10lbs skipjacks, tunny or small dolphin fish on the outriggers pretty short. We are not afraid to pull biger baits now because there were two sailfish bills in the stomach of the big blue.

Great story! What a day! You need to write sportfishing (I think it was that mag) and tell them their story last month about grander Marlin was wrong! They said that only one Grander has ever been caught on stand up tackle!
