First off I would like to thank Brandon at Uncle b's in wallingford to day for the bait to catch these wounderful trout. My neice and I hit our club pond today. The wallingford rod and gun club. She is 5 and love fishing never has been ice fishing. He lets go. I heard there was plenty of ice well not plenty.4 inches. We made it to the club at 1215 and where set up by 1245. Sitting in the car I noticed we had our first flag. We geared up. Gloves hats jackets the whole deal. By the time I made it out there I explained to her what to do. Fish on I yelled as the ip up came out of the water. She set the hook and started to pull. The fish was half way to the hudon canyon by the time we got to it. I was taking picks the whole time. We ended the day with 4 flags and 3 trout. First fish on the ice was a nice rainbow then a nice brown lastly a nice brookie. That completed the grand slam. Great day spent on the ice. I'm sure it will not be last by the looks of some of the pic's. Nay chance some one could help getting up a few pics?
