took alittle ride out of harkers island sun.am to hopefully hook a fish with a couple friends on his boat and it all worked out. we boated 18 mahi for the day. the ride was sporty heading out on the cc 26 footer leaving. seas all swelled up with 2 to 4s, yeah and the 6's with tops knocked of. we got the spread out and 10 mins. goes before the first one goes to the ice. the hoo got away, came unbuttoned about 30' away just wasn't to be.few more dolphin and we worked our way toward the hill with a good box of meat, my guess is a 10# avg. had a good time and the ride in was alot better, it had layed some and we had fish to clean.

Glad you were able to catch some fish. We wento out Sun. with the intention of going to the steeples but decided to turn around at frying pan tower. we never saw the 2 to 4 footers everything was 6+.
