It's an OBX Boatworks and I am fairly certain it belongs to gentleman by the name of Lynn Hudson from Greenville NC.

It is a sweet looking rig. One question and not trying to rain on the parade... Why outboards over diesel???

I can think of two right off.

    1. Less maintenance

    2. You can back troll to keep the lines vertical when jigging

And diesel makes some people sick, not that this was the reason for putting them on that boat, but just saying.

    OBX Boatworks

That was built for a gentlemen named Lynn. I was fotunate enough to take it for a ride after motors were hung. Boy, she does ride nice. OBX has built 3-4 now w/ the outboards. I can put you in touch w/ Billy if you want.

would be a sweet looking ride with diesels or even better IPS or Zeus drives. Those outboards just look funny sitting on that bracket, like they were just added as an afterthought or something.

There may be arguments for outboards on that boat BUT in my humble opinion, outboards on that boat is nothing short of a sin.

That boat would be a much bigger and more fishable boat with twin diesels or even a single screw diesel.
