Just stopped by the chinese rest next door to one of my stores to order some HOT AND SOUR SOUP....I'm surprised it's not boiling!!!!! I'm starving and it will be atleast another 45 minutes before it cools down enough to eat....Why in the world to they have to make it scoulding hot?!?!?!!?!

Maybe next time I should just order sour soup?

If it is good "hot" and sour soup the burn will probably set in tomorrow morning if you know what I mean .

Never ask for the ingredients for anything that comes from a Chineese resteraunt.
I have always wondered what this little chunks of soft brown stuff are in that soup - but I aint gonna ask.

TOFU - and the temperature is probably to guarantee the safe consumption of some of the stuff you can't identify! I love some good old hot n sour soup, though. I love to order it on a cold winter day and I put steamed rice in it like a stew - Gooooood b'ness.
