    Sportfishingusa, From now till the end of September is the best time to catch the 30 to 60lb. old drum in the Pamlico. If you are interested I still have some open dates in September.

    Larry - you're right. I think the biggest mistake Drum fishermen in this area make is putting the rod in the holder and waiting for it to bend. There's a TON of bite's I'd have missed this way.

    Headed out to the inlet this afternoon to chase the pups around and tag some... Are you going to be able to get on the this side of the bay this weekend?
