Funny how you were the first to reply to this post. I'm out working in the shop after making this post and was thinking of a guy I haven't even met,yet. YOU my friend, are the perfect example of this site. Here we sit all safe and warm, you're a world away keeping that way. First of all THANK YOU to you and your brother's in arm's. I'm thinkin here's this "kid" (no disrespect) over there that has gotten many offer's to PLEASE come go fishing with "ME" when you get home. Where else does that happen, really??? No doubt in my mind that when you and your "brother's" get home that there will definitely be trips taken, with those here on this site. Again I ask ,Where Else does that happen? First off, Thank You. It's you and the rest of the guys here that make things better/easier here. Marty's world is different. I am on several different fishing sites and by a very large margin the World O'Box is the most supportive. Although, 100ffc has been great as well. I of course don't do it for the attention or whatever but I've never made a post without someone saying something or sending me a pm. I think that says a lot about the type of people here.
Appreciate the thoughts and kind words.

Certainly not a kid though! I just turned 30 last month!! I really do hope to get together with as many of you as possible for fishing, some of Box's projects/classes or just for a beer/coffee.

Frank, you are right on the money here. The people, all the people are what makes this a wonderful place to be. Seems to me there is a better class of people posting here or maybe, a little better behaved....
I hope to meet you and a bunch more of the people that post here one day, hopefuly fishing. Thanks for all your kind words and your right, Marty is one class act that I am proud to call a friend. May you and the rest of SFC folks have a very wonderful Merry Christmas...

I agree this form feels like home. I read it everyday and have posted a couple of questions here when I might not have asked on other forms / sites.

The reason is I feel here you will get honest opions and differant ideas on how to answer your question, without any of "my way is the only way stuff".

A great example was my question on setting up a planner rod.
