GIANT RAPALA
So I was doing my weekly waltz through Bass Pro in Hampton, and I notice the Giant Rapalas. Thinking always of trying to come up with something unique to suggest for the spread of the boat I fish on, I had the idea of using this thing as a teaser, much like you would with the "TOAD." It comes in a wide variety of colors, and im sure could be painted like a tuna
. I dont even know if it swims properly. But if it does, just remove the hooks, and my guess is,you may have a giant Blue volkswaggon investigating your spread very soon.. Check it out. tell me what you think.. Tyson |

I saw those at the Bass Pro in Myrtle Beach, SC. They look really cool. At first I thought they were mail boxes.
Very neat and very realistic just like a small Rapala. Giant Rapala

Make sure to remove the lip and ths hooks from it. We had a guy bring one back that was destroyed when he did what you said. He bought it and trolled it and teh lip broke off and the hooks pulled. The front hook pulled and the screw holding it in put a deep scratch all the way done the belly. I couldn't believe that someone actually pulled it as is.
I think if you bolstered the line eye that it would make a hell of a teaser. I think they are around $70 but could be wrong on that. |
