It is getting tough to........
It is getting hard to set my alarm for the 3 am bluefin wake-up call. Where did they go? Are they coming back? Are they here and we just can't seem to find them? Do my ballyhoo taste like shit? Am I dumber than a fish with a brain the size of a peanut?
The questions have me scratching out the little hair I have left. Taking tomorrow off...maybe the next day. I am by no means a quitter, but, something has to give.
Come on now Mr. Tuna, cut all of us lunatics who chase you around the ocean a break. Pile on the planer, rip down the rigger, I don't care. We promise to give you the upmost respect, and bury you in a slurry fit for a king.... after all, you deserve the best.

Good luck in AK Ken. With the weather we have had so far this winter here, it should help you get acclimated for the Bering Sea easier. Catch them up so you can get back down and enjoy some spring and summer fishing at home.

When I fished off of brunswick last week a boat that had run to the Navy wreck and lost power there reported seeing 3 fish come under his rig. I guess they are well ofshore in warmer water. Lets pray for some warmer water to push in and bring the fish with them for the last few weeks of the season
good luck
