Is it better to fish the fleet or find your own water?
can a split-bill ballyhoo be pulled behind a lure or witch? if not, what is the best way to rig when pulling behind a small lure or witch?
Wow!!! a question!!!
Heres my take... If I'm going for numbers and its not a tournament I will go where the most action is. If a fleet is there fine if not ... Fine,,,
In tournaments I'll usually be off by myself trying to dig up bigger winning fish in places I have found them before. Last year at OCWMO I had the big ones spotted but the sponsors pulled me off of them and into the pack where we dealt with a pile of 40lb rats...
Finding your own really is better...

The idea behind a split bill is to let the bill act as a mini planer and "dig" behind a lure or witch that hydrodynamic force is taken away. really kind of a waste of the intricate rigging you do with them.
