    Gags and BSB!

    Took the girls out in search of some keeper BSB on Sunday out of NRI. On the run out, noticed a bunch of boats hanging out at divers rock. Thought maybe something good was going on but after talking to some capts and not seeing anyone hooked up, we decided to head out to deeper water.

    First stop was at 12 miles but produced only small BSB. Decided to move a couple miles further out. Found some 58-59 degree water and some nice ledges. First drop, first Gag. Just a little guy maybe pushing two pounds. Proceded to catch another 6 Gag up to 22" over the next hour or so with a bunch of short BSB mixed in. Girls were having fun and we were catching fish so we decided to stay put for the day.

    Ended the day with 6 big ringtail, one nice BSB, and a couple of happy little girls!
