Aim looking at a Garmin 3010 c Refurbished for under 1000 I had Garmin gps for years great But never bought refurbished It comes with a 1 year warranty from Garmin Iam getting older and having A hard time with the smaller screens

Ditto.... Sometimes the refurbished units (as long as they are FACTORY refurnished) are better than new.

The 3010 is a sweet unit. Go for it.
