THE FUTURE

Got a video camera through my job. They told me to play with it over the weekend, so I did. Here is a video of my little one explaining what to do with a White Marlin. She is three. I call her the future, because she always wants to go fishing, get in the boat, or "help" me rig rigs. Hope you like the vid.

She learned one day while I way spooling some TLD 25's with a fishing buddy. My buddy grabbed a rod and said, White one in the spread, then proceeded to do all the actions with the rod. Later that evening as we were sitting down to have dinner she blurted out with, White one in the spread! So I went with it.

Al, when I take her fishing all she wants to do is net the fish when they come up. She walks back and forth down the side of the boat and gives us the what for, for not catching fast enough.

I got up at 4:30 on Sunday and went downstairs to start the coffee. Heard something rumbling around upstairs... when I came in from the garage, Ryland (4YO) was standing there in his PJ's and fishing hat asking, "What are we fishing for?"

Broke my heart to tell him it was a big-boy's trip.
