    FUN FISHING OUT OF PC!

Arrive Sunday early afternoon in time to see "Boys Toy" hit in the storm that greeted us, WOW! Smoke rolled off it and only lost a radio. While waiting out the storm we had a beer and looked around the shop. My buddy Todd ask about a little bat and I tell him its for calming down fish on the boat and I don't have one as it hasn't been needed.

Day 1 we bust daylight open leaving the dock around 9:30 or later heading to the beach front to pick up blues for AJ's. We bypass AR-145 and head to tower C. Drop down a blue when a nice cobia swims by, to late as we are hooked up to an AJ for Nathans 1st. A little guidence and he does a great job working the nice size fish to the boat.

Back to the tower looking for Mr. Cobia and he has no interest in my bucktail. After breaking off several in the tower Nolan has the bucktail ready when I hear "COBIA"..."HOOKED UP"!!! I look around to see Nolan with my spinning rod doubled over and ask Todd to ease off the tower. He is holding his own but has trouble working around the motor /bracket, second time around motor wasn't bad as he had been completly around the walk around. I tell the boys to watch out if we get this guy in the boat as he will be ticked. Finally sink a gaff backed up by Nathan sinking a backup gaff. Now where is that bat? What a fish hitting the scales at 51 lbs. 8 oz. measuring 58" for Nolans citation.

What a way to start of the week with a couple of real nice fish landed by the younger kids in the house.

Guess what Todd presented to me?

Have to add that Nolan needed to know where the shower was after 3 days of fishing... he says the pool keeps him clean.

    Life is good!
