Well to say it was slow would be accurate.

We fished way down to the south from the rise down past the Scallop Beds, no bites we did have a blue marlin pass through the spread first thing in about 120fat. Other that than 2 seconds of excitement there was little else to speak of. We gave up the slow troll for the high speed and again NADA....

moved to some other bottom numbers looking for Snowy's or tiles no bites......did find some Red snappers in a bit shallower and some AJ' on the jig....

The large curling eddy had mostly east moving current for us and that had the water very ugly it was clear but all kinds of wrong color.....

Any way it was darn good practice for The Mahi slaying that will happen in just a few weeks.....all my tackle, rods, ect. are all in top working order and I am working on a new addition to the boat that will be sweet....(more to come on this)

Glad you got to bend a rod at the least. Nothing wrong with a jack here and there!

Zack, we did about the same on Sat minus the blue coming through the spread. Like you with the last couple of trips I feel we have the kinks worked out. We'll be ready when it turns on.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose and some get rained out. Any day on the boat is a good one even if the fish don't want to come out and play. Good job guys.
