Fished Catalina on the MarDiosa, 6 pack Charter.. Thanks JD! Great boat and crew..Skipper ( Matt ), 2nd (Daryl), Deck (Dom)..It was victory at sea going out, 9pm (Thur) Pierpoint Landing, and blew hard after 11am( Fri )....Conditions were very tough!

Old Yeller did not want to play. We played Checkers all day. The dogs were out in force. Sheared a few sheep. Pinched a Butt. Had some McDonalds & Played hard in the Bone Yard.

The Bones were wide open! Especially on the light bass outfit, Allstar 785c, Calcutta 250, 12lb, and a SA-9 Rapala for Ammo ( Silver/Black, Gold/Black)! Bones were Large Models..Could not bounce, had to put the hook in them, with the light tackle. The Skipper and me had a serious laugh on both my outfits I brought..He will be bringing a couple of rigs for future trips when conditions deteriate and action is needed.

I would go on another trip with the boat and crew in a heartbeat! Just was dealt shitty hand with conditions. I had a blast..ZZZ ZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZ Getting spooled, running around the rails, "Color!"....On the bass outfits! Just Classic!

No pics of the action..to much weather..Salt H2o and electronics are no bueno..Took some pics in the AM, favorable weather, leeward side for the day at Cat....

Nice report, sorry the fishing/ catching was not better for you but sound like you had a good time. What do you call a "Bone" here on the right coast, we call them "Atlantic Bonita"...

It would be a Bonita on the Left Coast..Just have to throw away the "A" word .. It was a good time with good people and crew! I had the wobbley boot until the next morning it was so rough going over...
