38 MONTHS AGO I CAME TO THIS SITE SEEKING SOME SANITY FROM PREVIOUS FORUM HAUNTS.....THE ADMIN KINDLY PROVIDED ME WITH A KEYBOARD CRIB AND SAID LET'S ROLL.....CAPT JOHN (ADMIN) IS THE HOST GENERAL AND JER IS OUR BRAZILLIANO ADMIRAL CRIBBING UP BELOW THE EQUATOR....

IN THE EARLY DAYS ......SOMETIMES MYSELF AND A FEW OTHERS POSTED AND WE HAD TO ANSWER OUR OWN POSTS .....FOR WE WERE SO FEW IN NUMBER BACK WHEN.

AS ONE GROWS (SITES)....SO DO A FEW HEADACHES WHICH WE USUALLY MANAGE OURSELVES....IF NOT JER AND JOHN STEP IN.....

ALL IN ALL WE HAVE A FUN SITE.....AND ........AS IN MOST SITES....THE MAJORITY REMAIN SILENT AND DO NOT POST WHICH IN NO WAY IS BENEFICIAL TO GROWTH...................

I HAVE BEEN AN OFFSHORE MATE FOR CLOSE TO 30 YRS......I CHOSE A LONG TIME AGO TO SHARE WHAT LITTLE KNOWLEDGE I HAVE GATHERED ALONG THE WAY RATHER THAN TO TAKE IT TO DA GRAVE....SOME DISLIKE THIS AND EXPRESS IT AS WELL......WHILE MOST WELCOME THE NEWS

Uncle Buck, first let me welcome you to the site, I think you will fit right in and I will some what, try and answer you question, "Who is Wahoonbox"...
First let me say that Admin AKA John Eppahimmimer is the person that has given us this wonderful to play with, we have "inshore". "offshore" "mix it up" (for no related fishing stuff so to speak"), "jigging, rod building, and Fly fishing" "Boats and Elects.", A "For sale"section, as well as an forum for each coastal "State" and much more....them you have "Wahoonbox, welcome to "my" (our ) world" this section was set up to give Wahoonbox, (AKA "The Box" ) a platform to give to others, shared in verse as well as video, what he has learned over the many years on the water in the pits of many boats that he has mated on..."His way...not the only way" encouraging us to chime in and give our 2 cents worth at the same time. "The Box" also is one of the most giving people I know of, Helping SFC's raise Tractor trailer loads of supplies of stuff for the Karina victims as well as along with a couple of others here on the board, funds and supplies for the "Boys and Girls", Wahoonbox wares many hats here and this is one ...ah a couple of them 247
Of course as well as you may well know, along with being an all around great person, one will have crap thrown at them. If you stick your neck out far enough, someone will want to chop it off and unfortunately it happens here...now who is Wahoonbox, best thing you can do is stick around and join in the fun and find out, as I said, I think you will like it here.

Hey Uncle Buck, I have read some of your posts on the Florida Sportsman site. Great how you put the forcasts up. Post up your tips here any will be appreciated. Too bad your off-shore forecasts can't be edited. They are helpful to me when i visit Jupiter.
