Thanks to y'all for posting up the pictures of the critters. I used to trap foxes, possum, skunks and mink when I was a kid (not coons. Had one as a pet that I raised from a baby that was a great pet and pal, so I didn't mess with them).

But my dad used to feed all of the stuff that came to our back yard at night. I never hunted or trapped around there because of that. He did it all year 'round and it was amazing how the animals tamed down and got used to my family. Generations of them came and had been doing it for so long and had so much trust in dad and us, they'd bring their kits and pups while they were really young. Hell, my dad or I could walk right up to these wild critters and they'd only look at us, not run. Amazing stuff, so I guess I'm a backyard critter hugger, but a critter trapper too.
