    While not knowing about the heavier triple fish FC, I did use a spool of 20 lb when live baiting some years back. It broke more times than I care to mention. Same knots as I have used with other line to leader connections. I also used some of it while inshore flounder and drum fishing. Same story here broke in the middle of a fight.

    It could be that I had a bad batch. But it did sway from buying it again.

    That is good pricing though on bulk spools.

    Give Dave Reed a call at Hatteras lures he will beat the above prices. Last summer I got 200 yards of 80lb for 110.00
