    FISHING WITH SEABISCUIT 6/3

Thanks to SFC I got to meet Seabiscuit who invited me for a day of chasing his favorite bottom dewllers. Met him at the very civilised time of 9.00 am at the ramp in WB. We headed south made some bait before meeting up with Slip Slidin who was fishing with JMS-ILM. They had a head start on us as we stayed around one of Biscoto's friends who had engin troubles.
Matt pulled out his first two catches as a teaser...

We started cruising around looking for scratches on the bottom
and I soon got to see Grouper Artist Biscoto at work...
With the wind blowing east the fish were finicky but we picked at them at every spot.

One of the highlights was when in over a 100Ft of water a school of Nice Beeliners came up on a light line and stayed at the boat for a solid 20 minutes. That was a first! Bailing vermillions right off the surface...
The boss wanted me to get the grouper slam so off we went for some pudding heads.
As we searched he prepared a gourmet lunch and soon after I had my second species...

None of the fish were caught on previously fished spots and that is one of Biscoto's favorite way of fishing.... Finding his own fish. Soon he got the fish of the day a beautiful Gag.

I ended up completing the slam and it was time to head back after a beautiful day on the water. The 21 Contender is a great boat for that type of fishing and the boss is quite a Master at anchoring her up......
Made it home around 11.30 and the boys were waiting for a full report. They too, now want to meet Seabiscuit and family when they come back from vacation. those grouper off Cape Lookout better watch out when they come on our boat soon....
Thanks Biscoto for sending me back with such a spread of fish my neighbors are already thanking you and we look forward to seeing you in Marshallberg!

Nice catch Nick. That had to be a sight to see a school of Bee Liners under the boat. Good catch, look foward to getting out to the Tower ledges soon. June is an awesome month. Again, good report and nice job.
