Wow Frank that's great. If I could get them to wear that collar I could teach all kinds of behaviors. Like "Go get the captain another beer", "Wash the bait slime off your hands before you reach into the potato chips", "Put more money in the fuel kitty" and "Hold this while I pee."

captdavdavis01; Teaching them to let out enough line so the weight and hook aren't whipping all over is probably going to be stage II after they learn to put the rod in a holder. I like your rules, BTW.

Reelscreamer, I may be able to do that in some cases, at least when we're on my boat. Good idea. Thanks.
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

    Avenger,

I have none of the problems that you listed, took no time at all. Just tell them it's a new Coast Guard requirement for saftey, a "hands free" water activating GPS location device. Anytime they try to take it off, well you know what to do!!!

It's actually worked out pretty good with a blend of two problems you mentioned, "Hey I gotta pee, but my hands are in the potato chips. Here hold this"! See, you can learn all kinds of valuable suff on SFC. Frank
