Sit down Shut up And fish
Seeing how I hunt about as much as I fish, I love the LaCross unisulated boots. They are not true fishing foot wear put I love them and wear them all the time. I just roll them half way down when fishing to give me a little bit more room and breathability.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
Had a pair of LaCrosse boots for 10 years, never had a problem with them, but they were not the most comfortable things even with Dr. Scholls.
Seeking more comfort on the water I bought a pair of Rugged Sharks at the beginning of last season. I heard some people complain about their durability, but I figure I would give them a shot due to the added comfort. They were a lot more comfortable, but for my size they were difficult to get on and off. By contrast, the Lacrosse boots in the same size slide right on and off, no problem. Then, late in this season, one of them tore on the top of the foot... not even sure how. I have never had a boot tear on me like that. I guess it is just softer rubber. The guys who warned me about the durability were correct. For $50, I expected them to last more then a season and a half.
I'm going to have to buy another pair for next season... I'd like to find a brand that is as comfortable as the rugged sharks but will actually stand up over time, like Lacrosse, Servis and Viking boots do. Any recommendations are welcome... I don't fish from January to April so I don't need super warm boots.
