This is fairly interesting, And I would love to take the time to high light a major issue facing our Fishery here in Antigua. St Barth's is our French Neighbor, These guys are commercial Fishermen who set endless amount of F.A.D's <Fish aggregating device> known as DCP's to the french fishermen. These guys day in and day out Fish ilegally in our waters. Also other french fishermen from Guadeloupe fish our waters ilegally. And due to the fact that we are a small island we do not have the resources to stop this. These guys do not release anything, Any Marlin Caught is killed, Tuna etc etc. If we were to pass near these French islands fishing, we would be taken in by the coasties in a heart beat and boat probably taken away. Didier, take time to have a look at these boats below, Perhaps you might know them?? esp Viking and Co.









All these guys are bad news for us here and there has been Many clashes over the years. These french fishermen will drive over your lines, Because they caught you fishing a F.A.D that is set ilegally in our waters. There are literally HUNDREADS of these fads scattered from 80 miles to 3 miles of our coast. Unreal, but this is the fact of the matter. I have vowed to cut every single french F.A.D that is set ilegally in our waters.

Well Shame about the language barrier, But what you guys are doing is not right, Esp your Cousin Chasing down A friend of mine who was fishing a DCP. Be very careful who you guys run down.
