    FISHIN DAYS PROGRESS REPORT

Well I just crawled out of the bilge after getting back to her Monday afternoon. When I got there Monday I had a bucket of Bilge coat and a pair of Dikes and went to it. If you have never dealt with Bilge coat you're in for a treat, note to self, wear gloves! Anyway, Ritchies crew showed up about 3:00 pm Tues with my favorite tool a sawsall, grinders wood and a mixing machine. They started on the the pit wings. Slapped up the port wing and grinded out the Stbd before quiting time. Wed AM slapped up the stb wing panel and started working on the overhang, by 3:00had the boards cut and fit in place. Thurs morn back to the over hang trying to get it right, just one of the 16' boards kept breaking. At 8:00 the Broad manager from Broad Creek Marina comes out and tells Tim, "You can't do that kind of work on the boat here, GET OUT!" If you haven't been to Broad Creek Marina you're not missing anything. It's a boat building and Seafood industrial park. Has to be at least 5 builders on each side of the marina, in fact they were grinding and painting 5 slips away from us. So the WENCH calls Ritchie and gives him hell. We and the crew work till lunch and off we went to Winkys, or, I think it was called Gualtneys, 3 hrs shot in the ass. So we are officially on the hill. The crew is working Fri and Sat in the pit and the interior guys show Monday. Can't wait to see her when I get back up there, Sun or Mon. Tim has some pics of the progress.

Rick here's a few "on the hill" pics I took before we hit the road. The old girl's bilge ain't that bad, little cramped but I've seen worse. I hope there's enough time to get everything done, Ritchie's crew doesn't waste any time. The trip around the island was fun, isn't there a limit on how many crab pots you can set in one area Might make it back up there a couple times before it's complete.
