    FISHIN DAYS BARTA REPORT

Had Tims younguns, and Scotts son Mat. Put em in around the 750 25 ftms. Pretty water scattered grass 80.5 deg. Nada but shaggin grass. Head out to the deep. The grass was from the 40-70 ftms. Get to the 100 ftm line and the current was ripping but we stuck it out. A few fish released so far, Impulse got the first. About 1015 Tim gets a bite on the lt long he wanted to play today so he took the lt long on the bridge. He tried him about 3 times then started cranking it in when he lets me know he has one back there. Didn't know what it was at this point when he says drop back the lt short. I do the dump and it wasn't long till I felt him pick it up when I hear Tim day IT"S A WHITE! I let him make the turn and slowly push up the drag and it came tight. Tim's son Christopher jumps in the chair and we start backing, everything goes great till he gets to the boat. I got the scissors right beside me to cut it loose. This fish is really lit up, beautiful blue pecs and tail. I start to leader him up when he puts on the show. WTF its a sail. I've never seen a sail lit up like a whitey. He was pic worthy so we decided to bring him on for a few quick shots. Every time I leaned over the gunnel he'd come straight up 4-5 ft out of the water trying to spear me, cool, settle down boy. In between jumps I snatched him by the bill and we got our pics, Off to find another. Headed back to the shallows snagged a couple peanuts. 108 boats, 23 sails and 3 whites, no one released 2 fish today as far as I know. Back at it tomorrow.
