FISH TACOS!!!

Up early this am with high expectations!

Get the boat loaded and pull away from the slip under star lit skys, absoutly CLEAR AS A BELL.... hit the inlet and plotted our course..

made a short run to some Gag Grounds and were rewarded early on with a nicen....



I never made the Photo worthy today after a few shorts I did manage a solid keeper of about 30''
I got ROCKED-SLAM-UP by GAGASAURUS managed to get him out after about 2-3 min of shaking the rod tip and various other cuss words only to break him off due to line chafe...

After we had our gags we moved deeper and pushed on offshore looking for some Reds and were Rewarded for our efforts.

The bite was not red hot today by anystretch. Bait of choice today was cigars and live 2-3lb beeliner for the bigger fish....and what ever else we could sabiki up and inpail through the upperlip.... Jigs were also productive

We moved around a bit did some HIGH SPEED trolling with 1 nice strike but no connection..later in the day moving yet again we did manage a 10lb king on the high speed....anyone got any thought on what went thourgh that little guys head just after the 10/0 hook sank in going the other at 17knts.....lol we had a good laugh at that today.....

Nice looking groupers CC. It's definitely the "right" time of the year to catch those rascals. With love on their mind they are not quite as vigilant as usual!

Great post and time on the water with ya! Nothing I like better than going out the inlet at 5:30 and coming in at 5:30 with a box full of fish and a few memories to get me through the winter.
