    FIRST TRIP FOR THE RUN-OFF

THE MORNING STARTED FAIRLY NICE BLOWING NORTHEAST WITH A 5AM DEPARTURE....AND BY 10:00 SHE WAS HOOKING PRETTY STIFF AND CHILLY

I AM VERY ENTHUSED ABOUT WHAT I SEEN TODAY....

BAIT, TUNA MARKS, BIRDS ETC ETC ...ALL THE GOOD STUFF

AND SADLY WE PULLED ONE OFF AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF CRANKING....I SEEN THREE BOATS BOWED OVER AND BACKING DOWN RIGHT BESIDE US THIS MORNING AND HEARD OF APPX 15 TOTAL BITES OUT OF MAYBE 30 BOATS FISHING

SEVERAL SHORTS WERE RELEASED AS WELL...CONGRATS TO CANYON RUNNER AND FIGHTING LADY TODAY....MY ESTINMATED GUESS WOULD BE MAYBE 5-6 FISH KILLED...BUT THAT IS A GUESS

ENERGIZER HAD A SHORT WRAPPED INTO HIS MAINLINE TODAY....REALLY....AND THERE WAS STILL ANOTHER TUNA ON THE HOOK!!! UNFORTUNATE FOR CAPT PETE AFTER THEY FREED THE TANGLED TUNA THEY PULLED THE HOOK ON THE SECOND FISH

ONE ROD -TWO FISH-AT THE SAME TIME....NOW THAT'S A FIRST FOR ME

    Thanks for the report Box.

Now that the boat is up on land I only have reports to look forward to. I wish you a safe and productive season.

    Let the blood flow.....

What was the water temp? I looked at the sat charts but I couldn't find a clear look.

A good start even if it did not stay tight. Good luck Brian and Marty this season. May you catch a whole bunch and may they grade high!

saw you boys when we picked em up and ran in box

    it was kinda bumpy today

no tuna bites for us today or yesterday.

but impressive signs to say the least.

bait stacked from the bottom to 20' in alot of areas and some good tuna marks.

we will be out as soon as this winds stops

Its always good karma to let the first one that you hook go anyways. It will bring good fortune the rest of the season....

You get the camera fixed yet Box?
