    Don't be scared of south out of OI

    850-000's can be mighty productive. And as far the locals being unfriendly, its not true at all. Most everyone I met there is cool and while they won't open pandoras box, they might give you some pointers if you don't act like a douche.

    I must have missed that! Lucky if you get out one out of every three days in a small boat that time of year! Whatever you do, don't believe the forecast on the local weather channel down there, always add 10-15 mph winds to their prediction!!!

    I agree about the locals. They aren't bad at all - especially if you send some business their way - just be open with what you're doing and they be glad to teach you the ropes and help you out in the future. This way you'll know the inlet, know what the fish are hitting that week and where.
