    Thumbs up First BFT experience

    Set up a last minute trip with the Fight N Lady for yesterday and made the trip down to MHC from Quantico. Got to the docks early and had a chance to meet Box before we left - things were starting off right. Got on board wit Shane and crew and 3 others and went out in search of the Tuna. Lines in at 6:48, fish on by 6:50. Got the fish to the boat in about 20 min and got a harpoon in her. Then the line broke and we scrambled to get another in her as we weren't sure how well she was stuck. After some tense moments, got her within range and put one more dart in and had her in the boat soon thereafter. After bleeding and some glory shots, Brad broke out the sawz-all and pruning shears and went to work. There is nothing cooler than harpoons, swimming hooks, sawz-all's and pruning shears being required fishing gear! Didn't get another bite, but had a good time out there and learned a lot. The fish was 94" and cored at 368lbs. I'll post some pictures when I figure out my new computer.

    Congrats Matt! Doesn't get much better than that. Nice fish as well! Sounds like the bite is pretty good right now!

    Great to have you with us Matt. We got another today, 84" 260lbs. Today went a lot smoother than yesterdays as the fish came up tail wrapped.
