Caught off of Wrightsville beach in 40-50 fathoms on a butterfly jig.

That is one of the best fish i have ever eaten. We usually catch them around the tower on pogies about 20 ft down. never tried a butterfly jig. May have to give it a try sometime

As I reported earlier Robja, we grilled that fish on some lump charcoal with just a little balsamic and orange juice marinade and olive oil and I have never had anything better. Such good fish. Made it even better that my litte brother caught it and I gaffed it, (notice the gaffing placement, toot my own horn )

Just makes me mad though that I handed him the gaff and snapped his picture and it looks like he did that good of a job!!!
