Finally get to meet "The Beast"
For the first time in two years that we've been putting lines in the waters off MHC I got to meet Capt. B....
Seabiscuit and slip Slidin are fishing downeast this week with a couple friends (Jim & Kevin) and invited me to join them yesterday. We Ran Off on the "Black Boat"...
What a fabulous fishing platform with at the Helm an outstanding Captain and fisherman with eagle eyes and lots of saltwater running through his veins! Good to meet his wife and sweet daughter at the dock too...
Fishing report is a detail compared to the experience of a fine day on the water with the Wilmington Boys and for me finally getting to know Capt Brian.

He is a class act. IMHO, the very best the East coast has to offer in a Captain. Privilege to know him. Sounds like ya'll had a nice time.

Standup, polite fella, outstanding ethical Capt. God given talent for fishing. Helluva nice guy too. From what I am hearing he is turning out to be a good dad too.

Banned Camp - I am on PROBATION!!
i have hear nothing but good things about brian.. he is one of the best like everyone has said.
it is tough being good because you can get critisized so badly but no one ever does because he is a real by the book guy.
if anyone is to charter a boat down in that area the beast is by far the way to go from what i have heard and read!!
very very nice..

Stop staring at my Avatar.
Hands down CLASS ACT and there are NONE better the Brian. You will never cease to be amazed each time you fish with him, after a while you will swear he has gills instead of lungs. The Best there is THE BEAST!

I see the rest of the team is cut off from the world fishing hard out of Harkers Island and that means they are having a great time...
From Biscotos phone call last night it was mission accomplished for him on the American Reds.... Nice job fellows!
Back to our Beast of a Skipper. He came the night before the charter @ 10 pm to Calico Jack's to help out Nick with a pump problem... Wanted us at 4.15 @ the boat.
The guy has some Energy!
Didn't take any fish pictures as I was taking a few video shots and I'll leave the others boys report on details.
We ended the day with 2 sails, 3 Hoo's, 3 blackies and 2 peanuts. 2 big hoo's left with some piano wire a few feet from the boat one would have been longer than the planks at the dock...
A few pics of the day

Got fish
Cant wait for a full report along with some pictures. And the ARS catch has my ears "perked". We found some close to in shore off Wilmington yesterday.
Always expect and look foward to any "Slip" or SeaBiscuit" report!
