Finally back int he water!

Well its been a long 2 years sitting on the hard for the Dottie IV.....dropping the boat off the trailer went like clock work, we swung around to the slip to pick up the other passengers and shoved off for the first shake down run of the year.....its been a long time coming.....and it is just like I remember it......BROKEN....enjoy the video lol.....we pulled the fuel pump, the fuel filter was only half full of fuel when we pulled that....changed it out and the filter stayed bone dry......at least we were only a hundred yards from the slip.....A big thanks to the kind fella in the pro line that got us back to the slip as well as the other 4 or 5 generous souls that offered assistance.l

Agreed box......Just another minor bump in the road.....new fuel pump will be in on wednesday.....then we will see.....It sure did feel good to hear that engine rumble back to life again.....even if it was short lived.

Do you think sea -tow would look at us funny if we asked for a tow from the slip TO the reef?

That's a good one. Did you figure out the problem...pump...clogged line??

Pump should be in today...we wont get down until the weekend.....if the pump dont do it we will dig deeper, we checked out the fuel tanks a few weeks ago and they looked good.....the spring on the old fuel pump was broken though so we figure that is the culprit.

If you think the tow to the reef is funny.....what do you think they would say about the cordless drill and 2" hole saw

What engine, and what all did you have done in those 2 years. I love the way those boats look. My buddy has A 33 combi and that thing is unreal in big water.
