FIN HUNTER 11/20 and 11/21
Headed out of the inlet saturday morning with Baywolf at the helm and pointed her south for about 45 miles. Lines in at 7:30 looking for some fat Hoo's. At 8:05 the planer goes off and a nice 46 lb Hoo in the box on ice. The bite slowed for a while and at 10:30 started to bick back up with a few Black Fins and then the bridge pole goes down with another Hoo that was 36 lbs. After lunch the planer goes off again with a 35 lb Hoo and then again with a 20 lb King. Had a Sail all over the spread that knocked down 5 lines one after the other but did not get the hook. Oh well, maybe next time. Ended the day with 3 nice Hoo's, 4 Black Fins, and a King. Sunday it seemed the bite had slowed a bit but still managed a 30 lb Hoo and 6 Black Fins. All in all it was a great weekend on the water and you could not have asked for better weather. The pics below are from the saturday trip.
