I HAVE BEEN AN ADVOCATE OF THE BIONIC BRINE FOR YEARS NOW...AND LIKE HOTROD...I TOO HAVE HAD "SWELLING" ...."STIFFNESS" OF SORTS....I ALWAYS ASSOCIATED IT WITH AGE....AND A LOT OF IT!![]()
SO....AFTER HOTROD'S THREAD......I DECIDED TO SWITCH BACK TO KOSHER SALT FOR SOME PERSONAL LAB WORK AND TESTING.....I HAVE NOW FISHED 3 DAYS OF TOURNAMENT FISHING GOING BACK TO USING THE ORIGINAL KOSHER SALT AND .....DADAH......SO STIFFNESS NOR SWELLING....
I MEAN WHITEY HAD ME RIG 1,347 BAITS IN 3 DAYS AND I HAVE NO DISCOMFORT AFTER USING DA KOSHER .......
NEXT STOP...THE BIONIC BRINE GOES TO A REAL LAB FOR ANALYSIS....

....I HOPE THE TEST COMES OUT NEGATIVE FOR ADDITIVES THAT MAY HAVE SCREWED UP HOTROD'S HANDS NOT TO MENTION THE MANY MORE MATES I HAVE INTERVIEWED......INCLUDING MINE
THIS IS NOT AN AGE THING APPARENTLY...CAUSE I HAVE SPOKEN TO MANY YOUNGER GUYS AND THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING...
Funny you should say that Box, my girl helped me rig and brine some Bionic baits over the week of the 4th. I forgot my homemade kosher/baking soda at the house and decided to buy bait instead of raiding my freezer supply. Had to buy some Bionice Brine too. She too came down with poison ivy looking rash on her arms and one spot on her legs.
Never had that problem when she helps me with the baitmasters baits/kosher mix. Since morton's is making the Kosher and Dave's kosher is not the only one on the shelf you can save a buck or two by going this route.
