Fight N Lady report Oct. 15

Got out today for a 3/4 day and the fishing was sensational! Started out today just off the beach pulling the spoons for kings and Capt. Shane soon had us on them. With plenty of ablies out there it was not long before I was cutting strip baits to go on the planner rod. Long story short I could not get them cut fast enough to keep up with the ones that were being destroyed. We ended up with a limit of kings, 9 grouper, all the albies that we wanted, and a 40-45 pound cobia. By 1:30 the crowd threw in the white flag and was ready to head to the barn. Overall, it was as fun a day on the water as you could ask for. All to often we only think about the big game in the stream but let me tell you guys there is a lot of fun to be had closer to the beach. It was the first time any of the three people that fished with us had ever fished offshore and they had a ball! The next two days it is back after the wahoo and sails and I can't wait, however, today was one that I will not soon forget.
