    Man you guys are blind! 20 posts and not one person mentioned 2 of the best mono lines out there! Izorline and lindgren pitman! both are top notch also momoi 400# cannot be left out for tuna fishing! more tuna are caughton 400# smoke momoi than any other size or brand leader worlwide and thats a fact i can guarantee you!

    Thanks for the input waterman...
    Have you caught many YFT trolling with the 400# MOMOI...or is this above statement based on longlines and/or chunking? Does day or night have any effect on the success of getting bites on the heavier line?
    I know you have far more experience than I do...that said, I feel like if I fished with 400 I would come up short against the lighter leaders while targeting YFT. I sure would like to have that to pull on once they were near the boat.

    Use 130 Flouro and/or 150 Jinkai. This is primarily NJ fishing but have used same sizes in spring/Winter out of OI NC and done well.

    I think I mentioned 250 lp in the 7th post of this thread. We use it exclusively on our bars. never had a single from complaint from the customers. The fish however are not real happy about it
