If you have...
a pair of van stall pliers, one of those columbia performance fishing gear gay shirts, and some sperry's you "look" to other nonfisherman like a "pro". Reminds me of women and their shoes and jewelry

I'll go with Franky and Deep C on this one, Manleys are cheap and good. Just hit em with corrosion block once in awhile.

I am a big fan of Donnmar Checkpoint 850's. I've had mine on a teather for years.

Are you guys kidding me!? I do not mean to piss anyone off put I do not see the point in spending $100+ on a pair of pliers. After all, what are you guys using these things for? Unless you have someone laying on the deck about perform heart surgery why do you need a $200 pair of pliers? I have used the same pair for two years now and they are as good the day I bought them. When they get a little rust on them just spray them down with rem-oil and work them for about a minute and they clean right up. The crimping function is usless put they are cheap and durable for everyday charter fishing. The ones I have are Calcutta branded but look the exact same except whatever the black thing is on the left side.

Nauti, I understand your point so I will resend my comment. However, I feel like that money would be better off spent on a planner rod, it will help you catch a lot more fish. Just an example.
