Even The Fluke Were Biting

Even the fluke were biting! We had Kevin Waters, Ed Emde, John Kimberlin, and Bobby Kemler out on Tuna Wahoo for a striper jigging session. The morning started out slow for stripers, but we picked up a couple of legal size fluke while jigging, and even had a double header of a fluke and dogfish (endangered) when trolling a tubed umbrella rig. The jigging started to pick up as the day progressed and we ended up with some real fat stripers to 34", and blues to 10 pounds, This was a great way to wind up our charter season, as I am going to run the boat to the winter yard later this week . I want to thank everyone who fished with us this year and look forward to fishing with you again next season. I hope everyone has good holidays and good health in the new year. I will be fishing in Florida in December and then taking some of our regulars down to Panama in February and will post photos from both trips when we get back.
