    Epic Day Offshore-9/24 (pics added)

Had an outstanding day offshore yesterday. 36 bites, three man limit of hoo's in da box, with quite a few more released We had one quad knockdown, two triples, and several doubles; very aggressive fish! We also brought back 8 mahi, jumped off a white, and had another come into the spread and knock the baits around.

The wahoo averaged 35 lbs., with the largest being slightly over 40.

    Fall has arrived!!!

I will post a few of the pictures when I get them tomorrow.

JR, pretty work man. Were you down with the fleet? We were in a red hull sea fox. The sails were thick at first light till about 1000. Have you ever seen so many jelly balls? Our pins were popping all day hooking the little critters. We finally followed the yellow brick road up and out and picked up some nice fish.

We fished with the fleet for a little while, but were all alone when we got into the fish. Yellow Jones Brothers 26'CC.

I have NEVER seen so many jelly balls. They were killing my riggers... Glad to hear y'all found a good weed line. We never found it formed up; lots of scattered stuff.

    WOW! You boys found them!

All the fish must be up there with you guys, we fished from the 100/400 to the Blackjack all day and dint get a single bite. Even trolled back inshore to the FP Tower and dint get a bite of any kind. The water was clean and deep purple with some upwhelling but no fish. We did manage to put a few seabass in the box around the tower though. So it wasnt a wasted trip I guess.

    Where were you guys fishin?
