when i am in costa rica i sometimes cats them when i fish from the beach
does someone know how too fillet them good? and maybe how too cook them

Hello, what's happening in Holland. It has been a few years since I last visited your country. I have tried, one bite, jack just so I would know. I immediately spit it out. Please, do not even think about eating a jack. This has to be the most disgusting fish I have ever tried and love all kinds of fish. The meat is dark and horrible tasting.

well i didnt think the tast was so bad , maybe it is because i am not used too eating so fresh fish i am not ready spoilled hahahhahahah
holland is ok but expesive with the euro!
but the dollar is low that makes central america good for me!!!!!!!!!

We caught a bunch of small jacks a few days ago and the locals here in the Turks and Caicos love them. The Premier(the president) couldn't wait to get a hold of some for himself. As a matter of fact, he's here on the island now and wanting to go fishing for more, but it's too rough. Anyway, they tell me that they fry them lightly dusted with spices and it's good meat.

Unfortunately the crevalle falls in the terrible category along with most trevallies. However, pompanos rock, as do yellowtails, lookdowns and most runners. Amberjacks are in the middle between good & bad.
