Ive always wondered about a yummee flier chain with a big rigged mackerel or mullet chasing them, hooks in every rig. Whatever is too small for the mackerel/mullet will have to slam the fleeing yummees. -fished WWB instead of a bird/chase bait combo. seems more natural, with the same effect.

anyone ever make chains out of em?

Nothing wrong with trying new stuff. If it looks good- AND it feels good- It'll work. Trust your gut when you see it. We expect a full report!

I made a yummy chain followed by a Super Chugger. It made a big olecommotion then got stolen by a big ole blue one. Busted my cheap teaser reel too.

Thanks for the replies guys. I hope to unleash this monstrosity this summer off VA Beach. I will put up pics of it after I make it and report one how it catches, hopefully.

Sounds like it would work. We have a WWB that we call the "trash line." It is a combination of all the goodies and does work. Sorry fellas Captains orders not to tell exactly what the chain is made of but it WORKS HANDS DOWN!!! Kind of a mother f-er to leader but it works real good. I say go for it!!! Only down side is you may have to drag it from a broom stick rod because 2 bars in series will result in a s**t load of resistance.

If you build it, they will come.
If thats all you drag, you'll see every fish to it.

I like that teaser idea. I believe it would create alot of drag. So pull it from a cleat or a dredge/130 rod and reel.

I love the idea. My thought would be to take it into smaller systems each off it's own rod or cleat or teaser. Dredges, bars, big trailling stuff..it's gotta work it's just figuring out how to manage it. Maybe even hookless with a pitch at the ready don't know it's all good ....Ain't gonna sleep much tonight....

WAY COOL THOUGHT PROVOKING STUFF

Offshore dredge, bar, bird, meat..cause everything need a little meat....stuff more stuff....Jay's gonna hate me

I LOVE IT
