Nice vid Boxman. Question, what do you use for the last bait? A weighted flyer, or a different lure? I'm assuming the last bait is rigged in-line, not dropper.

Timing is everything. Yesterday I got some little flyers and was sitting looking at them thinking how the hell am I going to rig those. Then today I see this awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to put this out. It just made my life a whole lot easier.
GOOD QUESTION 92'.......ME BEING THE SIMPLE MATE...IT WILL BE EITHER A NAKED BALLY...MAYBE EVEN SPLIT BILL.....MAYBE A SMALL NATURAL SQUID NO SKIRT...OR MY OLD STAND BY A 3/8 SEA WITCH BALLY BLUE/CRYSTAL HAIR....
THEN JUST BARELY INSIDE THE WING SPAN OF THE LAST FLYER ON THIS CHAIN I WILL CRIMP A SMALL BALL BEARING BARREL SWIVEL AND THEN CRIMP ON A SHOT OF FLUORO 90# LEADER APPX 6 FT WITH THE BAIT....
THIS RIG GETS HIT A LOT AND THE LIFE EXPECTANCY IS SHORT OF THE CHAIN ITSELF....IS....WELL....NOT EXACTLY GOOD IN CAROLINA TOOTHY WATERS
Great video BOX!! I think your way of rigging it is much better then the way I use to do it.
Those flying fish chains have definitly seen some action on the RUN-OFF before.
As a matter of fact, I think THE BEAST has seen a blister or 2 on his thumbs from the teaser reels when the Yellowbellys came piling in on it.![]()
Cool tip thanks for sharing it!
Very Cool!!! I like how you crimped the loop and tied the floss to hold the plastic bait in place. Thanks for taking the time to share your tricks.
great video. would like to see the finished product sometime. Thanks again...
